We currently have an opening for a Financial Analyst. This position will support the accounting and finance department by performing analysis and several tasks to create and collect information for the Financial Statements. Assist in performing general accounting functions and in the preparation of the monthly financial statements. This position performs tasks for and is supervised directly by the CFO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cash Flow analysis, Bank and Credit cards reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed.. • Accrual analysis and prepare journal as needed. • Month end expenses reports for different departments. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. • Insurance reconciliations. • Support payroll and payroll taxes processes. • Back up of positions within the department. • Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements. • Support to develop budgets and forecasts • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts • Accept and adapt easily to change • Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement • Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation • Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation • Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field • relevant work experience in Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Accounting or related field is desirable • Advanced knowledge of Excel / Financial modeling • Bilingual / Spanish is desirable • SAP experience desirable • Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions • Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed, and perform work independently without being prompted • Ability to manage competing priorities, prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and work within deadlines • Acceptable attendance • Positive attitude • Team player • Sense of urgency • Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines At AbiMar Foods we value: Simplicity – We are flexible and practical in order to provide on-time solutions.
